Walk-In Tub - Drain Diverter Knob / Auto-Drain Hose
Troubleshooting
Two common related issues: (1) Diverter knob misaligned - the knob cap can be popped off with a flat tool (no damage) and repositioned so the indicator points correctly between Jets and Drain. This is a frequent post-installation issue. (2) Auto-drain hose not connected - the large white flexible hose inside the access panel is the auto-drain hose; it must be connected to a sanitary tee on the drain line between the overflow and the drain shoe. If unconnected, water will pour into the cabinet area when the unit tries to drain. This is an installer error per the manual. Have the plumber connect the hose to the proper tee on the drain pipe. They may need to access through the wall if the panel side does not provide enough clearance.
