Walk-In Tub - General
Troubleshooting
This is caused by the check valve not being installed at the correct angle. The check valve uses a small plastic ball that floats up to block water flow - it must be at least at a 45 degrees angle to function properly. Fix: locate the check valve on the drain line under the door; if installed with hose clamps, loosen and reposition to the correct angle. If glued, cut the hose and reattach using 3/8" flex or PVC hose. A plumber can assist; they may call SW Corp support for installation guidance. A manual diagram showing correct orientation can be emailed on request.
