Soaker Tub - General
Installation
No GFCI outlet is required for a soaker tub - electrical requirements (GFCI, dedicated breaker) only apply to jetted, air, or walk-in tubs with pumps or heating elements. For testing: install the tub, fill with water, and simply verify the drain does not leak. A 30-minute hold test is not required for a soaker tub since there are no jets or plumbing connections to test beyond the drain.
