My smart toilet's pre-flush and post-flush functions are intermittent or have stopped - what's wrong?

This is typically caused by a failing flushing valve (solenoid valve). The toilet has two solenoids - one handles the pre-flush and one handles the post-flush/bowl fill. If one fails, those specific functions stop while the main flush may still work. Resetting (unplugging) does not fix a failed solenoid. To claim warranty: email support with your name, address, phone number, a copy of the original purchase order (e.g., from Home Depot), and a short video showing the issue. Send to the SW Corp support team. If outside warranty, flushing valve replacement is $65.
